The Best Easy to Make Macaroni and Cheese (No Boil)

Do you love mac and cheese, but you hate all the steps it takes to make a good homemade version? This no-boil macaroni and cheese is pretty much a one-step process, but it is somehow the greatest mac and cheese. Dumping everything into a casserole dish, uncooked pasta and all, is about as hard as it gets when it comes to this recipe. Halfway into the baking process, you will need to stir the pasta, then put it bake in the oven. That’s it!

What You Need For This One Pan Mac and Cheese:

  • Pasta: I like to use shells or elbows.
  • Cheeses: Mozzarella and Cheddar are my preferred cheeses.
  • Milk and Cream: With a bit of water.
  • Onion and Garlic Powder, Smoked Paprika, Mustard, Cayenne, and Salt: These are a must to give your mac and cheese the best flavor.
  • Cream Cheese: Just a plain block to add to the pan.

This no-boil macaroni and cheese is insanely cheesy and creamy. I think it’s the perfect dish to bring to a cookout or a holiday meal with family or friends. It takes no time at all, plus it reheats really well. I love putting different toppings on the mac and cheese, like bread crumbs or crushed potato chips. This will be everyone’s favorite macaroni and cheese and they will be so shocked when you tell them this is a dump-and-bake, recipe. They will also be shocked by how few ingredients this takes, and there is no need to make a roux to thicken the sauce.
